Why You Should Hire Me

Photography is my full-time job.
When I chose this profession I made the commitment to devote my full attention to it. I do not have a separate "day job". Consequently I'm available for booking any time of day or night, and my turnaround on editing is fast.

I am savvy about online media and social networking.
I put up my first web site in 1994, and I've been shooting with digital cameras exclusively since the year 2000. Just like many of my clients, I have a presence on many of the major social networking sites including Facebook. I optimize my low-resolution photos (included with every hired job) for web display.

I have no delays for proofing.
I carefully select, crop, color-correct, and perform minor retouching on each photo before I put it up on my web site for either public or client-only viewing. When I tell you your photos are ready, you can download them immediately. Prints and other products are assembled and shipped directly from the lab, with no intervention from me required. (Of course, if you have specific requests for image processing before the shoot, or questions about your order afterward, just ask me.)

I don't up-sell on print products.
My philosophy is that you're paying for my time and expertise, not for square inches of photo paper. I don't charge a huge markup on large prints, and I don't pressure my customers to buy them.

I don't force you to order prints through my site.
I offer over 200 products through my Zenfolio galleries, with even more available by special order, so I'm likely to have what you're looking for. But if not, you can purchase high-resolution image licenses from me and get your prints done wherever you like.
